After a three-year hiatus, Formula 1 returns to China for the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix. The race will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit on April 19-21, 2024.
First Sprint Weekend
The 2024 Chinese Grand Prix will be the first Sprint weekend of the season. This new format includes an additional short race on Saturday that awards points to the top eight finishers. The results of the Sprint determine the starting grid for the main Grand Prix on Sunday.

In the United Kingdom, the race will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports. In the United States, the race will be broadcast live on ESPN.

- Saturday, April 20th

Shanghai International Circuit
The Shanghai International Circuit is a 5.451-kilometer (3.387-mile) circuit located in the Jiading District of Shanghai, China. The circuit has 16 turns and a top speed of 223 mph (359 km/h).
